Searching through the Wiki picture i really like seeing these three pictures. The first picture was very beautiful and creative. The second picture i thought was very funny to use vegetable soup in order to get the point across. The third picture was awesome. I never thought of using a flowchart for any other subject besides English, so this was by far the great of them all. There were several ideas Incorporated in WilKi but from the last picture that include a flowchart this really helped me to understand how to apply wiki to the classroom. to have my future classroom to use the flowcharts to help them learn the steps of a concept.

Thing 12: More to Google
There were so many different tools that google has , which is not limited to just searching a site. The first tool I explored was google calendar. This tool makes it convenient to see everything, and what particular days are event on. It was very simply to maneuve through placing events on the days that you wanted to place them, along with times of the events. This is a tool that can not only be used as a personal tool, but as an educator it can be used for keeping track of all the dates of meeting, classroom assignment dead lines or any other events that make it complicated to remember events and times.
Following is a link of this creation:

Another tool that google has is called " translator. This device is great and unlike any other translating devices because it allows you to type the words that you want translated and while an individual does that on the other side it translate the words not as a whole but word from words so you can see what words means what. There is also a voice button that would allow you to hear it in both the untranslated and translated versions. This is a tool that can be used for developed of of the teacher who may not be familar with spanish or arabic and wants to give a child whose language is one of the following. This makes it easy to translate it to the child's language. This could also be used for the students purpose of knowing what a language means in other langauages. I think the students would love this tool, because its not as much of a effort as learning it another way.

Thing 11: Finding Rss Reeders
Finding Rss Readers are very complicated when there are so many sources on the internet. Google Blog search was the most convenient for searching readers. The most complicated of the Rss reader was the Technorati . This was the most complicated because when you on the site you really are confused as to how to subscribe to the particular site.

Rss Feeders: Thing 10
Rss Readers are very convenient. I never really known about this tool until being introduced. This tool helps to make it very convenient to just look at everything that were subscribes to in one particular place without having to go from one site to the next.
Surprising, not very web page has this option which made it difficult to navigate and find either sources or websites that does has the Rss option. At this point i do not see Rss as a tool that can be used in the school, but more of a personal use.I can use this tool for my google account to search for recipes, health tips, technology, and other things. If you have a Rss Feed than this can become a useful tool for students blogs and less of a hazard for the teachers.

Thing 9:
Image by Cool Text: Free Logos and Buttons - Create An Image Just Like This
Image by Cool Text: Free Graphics Generator - Edit Image
Image by Cool Text: Logo and Button Generator - Create Your Own Logo I really like making generators, which i had no idea that a tool as such was invented. It was very simple to create a generator after finding the site to use. This a great idea to see what a banner would turn out. This would help in the classroom if you assigned students to create a logo and bring them to class. This could even be used in the classroom, if the teacher is talking about a subject and the students make a meaning by using generator site to tell and create a visual of what he or she feels it means.

Thing 8: Flickr in the classroom
In my opinion i do not feel that Flickr along would be useful in the classroom but there could be some use for Flick mashups. Educators can see students work on there own particular websites especially in the art field, were individuals can post photos of there work. I really do not feel that Flickr in my particular area would help me as a educator right off.

Thing 7:Flickr
This tool that I'm about to mention really is helpful and i had no idea what it was and how to use it until exploring the site. Flickr is a convenient tool that allows individuals to store photos and organize them as well. The Picture that i chose was very colorful and well designed. I loved the fact that a tag led me directly to the picture section that i wanted. Having tags really does help to in finding the picture, but one suggestion in choosing a tag the individual should pick something that helps to reflect the actual photo.

Thing 6: 2.0 Tool
Pandora is a music station that allows the individual to select his or her type of music. One advantage of Pandora is that the listener decides if he or she would like to listen to a particular song or to dislike it by clicking a thumb down symbol. This allow the radio company not only to skip the song that is disliked but also to not select songs to play that are similar in style to the disliked song. Other advantages if an individual has a Smartphone they are able to download a App and listen to the station and the radio is FREE. Some disadvantages of using Pandora is when you skip too many song the radio station would not allow the individual to skip any more up to 6 skips. Another disadvantage in using Pandora is when playing the radio stations there are many ads , which stops the flow of the music station.

Thing 5: Web 2.0/ Technology is needed
After reviewing What is Web 2.0, it was quite shocking to discover how limited classrooms were in the past. I am excited to know that changes are on the way, but now im not sure if i am prepared enough for the changes. In my opinion, web 2.0 means incoroprating new technology in the classroom to make it more convient for students to on- the go as well as parent and the school systems. This means in the future for the schools and teachers that these individuals would have to be more equiped to relate with students using technology, and these individuals would have at least have the some type of experiences as to how to operate technology tools. The more technology thrives and grow the more prepared teachers have to become with being familiar with technology.
From the Web 2.0 A guide for educators, according to Mclester " No one would dispute today internet has become a pervasive influence on the daily live of citizens". I agree with this whole- heartly. Technology seems to be the thriving and individuals are feeling the need to understand how to become apart of the lastest technology. This means that for future students who are going to already have experience with how technology operates. As a result, teachers are going to need to become mor knowledgeable about how technology works.

Thing 4: Commenting on other blogs
Having others commenting on your blog to see what other type of opinions are out there besides the individual who posted. With this feedback the author is then able to see some suggestions about that particular topic. This create a sense of interactions such as having a face to face conversation, just without the physical presence of seeing someone else face. Reading the 10 techniques to get more comments on your blog, i found two important things i thought were very important. One of the findings from the readings, gave a tip to be open ended to never say everything that needed to be said. I felt this was very useful, because if an individual feel that everything is stated he or she would not feel his or her opinions would be valuable to the post. Another finding from the reading of your comments stated that make a comment heart-felt to others postings. This helped alot because people are able to tell if you mean something or not.
I chose the Your Comments and 10 Techniques to get more comments on your blog readings to do this assignment on. I decided to chose these two readings because of the information and tip each article gave. They both were very insightful.
I chose the following individuals' blogs Miranda's 23 things, Taylor Bumpus, Vanessagreen, Elizabeth Paige and Jessica Stewart. I chose Miranda's blog because her blog was more relaxed with the wording and the her feelings seemed easy to related to. Taylor Bumpus's blog was chosen because i like his cool avatar, really eye catching. Vanessagreen's blog was chosen because i liked how she listed the 7 and 1/2 habits of Lifelong Learners on her post to refer back to. Elizabeth Paige's blog was chosen because i like some of her ideas specifically how she is planning on using her blog in the future. Finally, Jessica Stewart's blog was chosen because of her ideas. All of these individual's received encouraging comments. I wanted first to start off by getting insight of the different individual's blogs.

Thing 3: Knowing and Applying
I am anticipating to see the results of using a blog in my future classroom. There are many ways to use this device but i would like to incorporate blogging in my future classroom by using it as a tool to see how my students feel about a particular subject taught on a weekly basic. This would help me to see the concept that some students are not grasping and other concepts that i could feel good about that every individual grasp. If the student explain on there blog for example there needs to be more hands on assignment, i would know to incorporate more assignments that involves hands-on experiences. This would also help to better the student to want to express how they would receive my teaching and it would help me to do my job better in making sure my students learn.
Thing 2 : New Experience
This assignment was truly a experience for me. First let me explain technology is not a area were i am a expert. When i was deciding to chose a title to call my blog i first tried on my own (not a great idea) and then i decide to Google some examples. I saw some names that were fun, others a little weird , but i knew i wanted others to be drawn to my blog paper but at the same time appropriate for education. That too me was a difficult task to master. The blogger names of my assignments just come as i go along with the actual assignments. The overall experience in creating the blog was fun and i learn a lot.
The part in choosing my avart was really enjoyable. I did not choose a avart that reflected me overall as an individual but just some features of how i might appear. When choosing the type of clothing and shoes things of that particular sort, it was hard to first to decide on what i wanted to chose and the type of clothing that reflected me as an individual. I decide to choose colors that i like and apply that to my personal avart.

Thing 1
For this assignment, i found several habits easy and others complicated. The easy habits for me to understand were habits 2: accept responsibility for your own learning and habit 5: create your own learning toolbox as well as habit 7 1\2: play. These are habit that i feel already have a good grasp on and applying it to my daily life now. The habit that i found more difficult were habit 1: being with the end in mind , this was confusing for me to even understand the concept behind this particular habit; as well as, habit 3: view problems as challenges. This specific habit is hard to maintain depending on the situations. Sometimes it is easy to keep a clear focus and positive attiude when you taking on something new and you see a situation not a problem but a challenge that you can get through, where at other times it much easier to lose that focus. The situation could be too difficult and the individual could really start seeing the situation as a problem instead of a challenge.
I would like to know more about how to use and apply technology with education and a college student. Personally, i have never created a blog and did not even understood the concept of what a blog consist of, until now. In my opinion, the steps in creating a blog was easy to follow.Thank goodness for instructions. I must point out i love the quote on page 29 as follow: "Even a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
